My grandmother gifted me stock when I was in college and she set in motion a chain of events which led me to the work I am honored to do today. Her gift was generous in more ways than one and so I owe much of my career and lifepath to her.

My family has a long history of serving our country – this includes my brother, sister and I. Dad encouraged us all to join the Air Force, but we all joined the Army anyway. After Dad retired from serving 20 years in the Army, we lived in Princess Anne, Salisbury and Snow Hill. After graduating from Snow Hill, I spent 12 years in the Army as a CH-47 helicopter mechanic and crew chief instructor and later served in the Maryland National Guard. I spent two years working on a civilian contract as a helicopter crew chief instructor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

My personal interests include genealogy, coin and currency collecting, oyster can collecting and history. My wife, Claire, our two children and I love to travel internationally, to spend time on the water and at our property in Oxford, Maryland.

I support the local business community as a member of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and our higher education community as a member of the Wor-Wic Community College Foundation Board. From its inception 10 years ago, I have been a race director for the foundation’s 5k Run which raises upwards of $30,000 annually.

We work with families, female investors, business owners and non-profit organizations to understand what’s most important to them. Partnering with their trusted tax and legal professionals, we help determine the most appropriate strategy to achieve their goals.

I’m lucky to be able to do this work with my friend and business partner of almost 21 years. Diana Staley is instrumental in helping me build trust and life-long relationships with our clients. We would love to welcome you to our family and build a relationship together.
